We will also need help with cashing in the change at the bank and/or credit union.

Give LITE Your Change to Make Change in Winnipeg!!

You know you’ve got a jar of pennies (maybe some nickels and dimes are in there too), why not donate them for a good cause?!

LITE is collecting pennies to continue our fundraising efforts for our Community Economic Grants program. A little change can go a long way to supporting employment projects in Winnipeg’s Inner City and North End.

If you have pennies you’d like to donate, you can drop them off at 765 Main Street, send us a Facebook message, or call us at 204-942-8578 to arrange a pickup! Consider multiplying your donation by collecting at your church, synagogue, mosque, or school.

If you own or work at a business, we’d love to get you a coin box to collect pennies and change! Get in touch!

Thank you Winnipeg!!

Kicking off the new year with a campaign about CED. Help spread the word.

We have been investing in Winnipeg’s inner city communities since 1994. We raise funds to support the inner city’s long-term community economic development (CED). The solutions to poverty in Winnipeg demands long-term strategies built on the initiatives of local residents. This is the basis of our two disbursement programs: Community Organization Grants and Christmas Hamper Purchases. Spread the word that we do more for the people in your community.
