As the year comes to a close, we want to remind you how valuable your support is for charities during the holiday season. The ongoing Canada Post strike has created challenges for everyone, and charities are struggling to receive donations when they need them most.
But don’t worry – there are still plenty of ways you can make your donation count before the year ends:
- Online Donations: Visit our website to easily make a secure, tax-deductible donation online with an automatic receipt.
- Drop-Off Locations: If you prefer to donate in person, essential mail locations are now accepting cheques for charities. Donations can be brought to The Norquay Building – 401 York Avenue, Basement Level. Include your email for an electronic receipt! You can also drop by our office (203-765 Main) – we’d love to see you!
- Give us a Call: If you’re experiencing any difficulty with donation methods, please don’t hesitate to call us at (204) 942-8578 ext. 202. We’re happy to assist you, and we can even process donations over the phone!
We have a lot to share with you about our plans for the new year, starting with our Hamper Program in January. Our goal is to distribute 500 hampers through our community partners, following the holiday season – a time that can be particularly financially challenging for many.
