Events October 8

Whenever creating anything new, you will make mistakes. In this session we will look to identify the most likely mistakes or risks that could occur in the creation of a new product and make plans to reduce the likelihood and potential impacts of those mistakes or risks if they do happen. We will be doing some peer learning about mistakes that we have made in product or program development and how they were resolved, tell stories of previous mistakes, and work on identifying and planning for both internal mistakes and external risks. We hope that participants come with ideas of potential products that they could make or industries they could work in, as those will form the foundation of what risks we would expect.

Designing new products and services can be difficult, but with the right planning, it doesn’t have to be. A Roadmap for Product Development is a 5 workshop set that will guide you through the various steps in the journey of designing and creating your own products. This is the 2nd part of the series. You do not need to have attended the 1st part for this workshop to be valuable.

This event is open to LITE partners, the not-for-profit community of Winnipeg, and members of the general public who want to understand more about the work being done in the social enterprise sector in Manitoba.

The workshop will take place at virtually, using Google Meet. Please RSVP early to ensure you have the meeting link.
