Events September 27

Designing new products and services can be difficult, but with the right planning, it doesn’t have to be. A Roadmap for Product Development is a 5 workshop set that will guide you through the various steps in the journey of designing and creating your own products.

In this workshop, we will go through the planning process, brainstorm ideas, and evaluate the relative difficulty of designing and producing products so you can pick the best one for your first prototype. We will work collaboratively to better understand customer needs, go through the story of the development process for the LITE Soup Mixes, and finally brainstorm ideas for new products and services and evaluate which ones will be the first ones to be prototyped using comparison grids. At the end of the workshop you should have a shortlist of ideas that you can work on prototyping with your team.

This event is open to LITE partners, the not-for-profit community of Winnipeg, and members of the general public who want to understand more about the work being done in the social enterprise sector in Manitoba.

The workshop will take place at the Social Enterprise Centre, 765 Main St, 2nd floor board room. Capacity is limited, please RSVP early to secure your spot.
