As nominees for the 2022 Spirit of Winnipeg Awards, Non-profit and Social Enterprise category, we’ve joined forces with fellow nominees Immigration Partnership Winnipeg, and Fireweed Food Co-op to bring you the Spirit of Community water bottle!
Sales of the Spirit of Community water bottle will support programming at all three non-profit organizations. We’ve also got a “Buy one, Give one” bundle, which will gift reusable water bottles to Main Street Project in time for summer. These donated water bottles will help support those in need at the Main Street Project’s shelter.

We wanted to present an artwork that captured the spirit of nonprofit and social enterprises–as responsive to today’s needs and as generators of a more livable, community-centered future–without being overly literal. The imagery on the bottle, designed by Tamiko Chase Kavanagh, does exactly that.
Making sure this fundraiser fit with other social purchasing products on the LITE Shop was as important as making sure the art represents each of the organizations involved. We couldn’t have asked for anything better!
This fundraiser is also a first for the Winnipeg Spirit Awards!
Non-profits, social enterprises, and ventures like them support communities by making new opportunities. That’s a big part of why we’re working with our fellow Spirit of Winnipeg award nominees to make the Spirit of Community water bottle available, so we can all support each other with your help when you purchase one.
