At the end of the month, we’ll be distributing 500 hampers through two valuable community partners: West Broadway Community Organization (Good Food Club) and North End Community Renewal Corporation, who are busy making their grocery lists.

This year’s hamper will include warm winter hats from The Cutting Edge Designs and boxes of delicious shortbread cookies from the Indigenous Women’s Healing Centre, all made by the women these organizations support.

Each hamper, valued at $90, also includes a grocery gift card—either for Food Fare or President’s Choice, depending on what best suits the area and the needs of the community.

The packing and distribution of these hampers will create work for 18 individuals, helping people who face barriers to employment. Your generosity not only supports those receiving the hampers, but also strengthens our communities by providing jobs. Together, we can offer care, dignity, and warmth this winter.
